Services
Services for construction 4D
Three services with one aim: to let your team see the build before it happens. Each project starts with a 30-minute call and is priced in a written proposal.
4D construction sequencing and animation
Your programme linked to your model and played as the build, week by week, so a bid panel, a client or your site team can see how the job goes together.
For projects in the Gulf, continental Europe and North America.
Who it is for
Bid managers who want the panel to see the method, planners who want the sequence checked by eye before it goes out, and project managers briefing a client, a board or the neighbours.
Used for
- Tender and bid animations
- Logistics, phasing and temporary works sequences
- Client and stakeholder briefings
- Progress replays
What you receive
- MP4 animations in HD or 4K
- Stills for the submission, reports and presentations
- An interactive viewer on request, to step through the sequence by date
Typical timeline
A short tender clip usually takes 1 to 2 weeks from complete files, and a full bid sequence with logistics 3 to 5 weeks. I plan the work back from your submission date, and the proposal sets the dates.
4D planning and SYNCHRO support
A 4D model your planners can rely on: the programme linked to the model in SYNCHRO 4D or Navisworks TimeLiner, checked, and ready for the bid or the site team.
For projects in the Gulf, continental Europe and North America.
Who it is for
Planning managers who need a 4D model built, checked or reviewed against the programme, bid teams who need 4D in the submission, and teams new to 4D who want help setting it up.
Used for
- 4D models in SYNCHRO 4D or Navisworks TimeLiner
- Linking the programme to the model
- 4D model checks
- Sequence reviews with planners
- 4D prepared for bids and site teams
- Set-up and coaching for teams new to 4D
What you receive
- A 4D model in SYNCHRO 4D or Navisworks TimeLiner, with the programme linked to the model
- A check report: coverage, sequence logic, clashes in time, and workspace and logistics conflicts, each with a suggested fix
- Notes from the sequence reviews with your planners
- Views, animations and stills prepared for the bid or the site team
- Set-up notes and coaching sessions for teams new to 4D
Typical timeline
A check of an existing 4D model, or a sequence review, usually takes 2 to 5 working days. Building a 4D model for a bid takes 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the size of the programme and the model. Set-up and coaching run as sessions booked around your team.
Bespoke interactive applications in Unreal Engine and Unity
Interactive tools built for your project in Unreal Engine or Unity: 4D viewers and dashboards, VR and AR walkthroughs, site inductions and rehearsals of critical operations.
Tools that play a construction programme or rehearse a sequence of works, such as a heavy lift, are for projects in the Gulf, continental Europe and North America. VR walkthroughs, inductions and design reviews have no regional limit.
Who it is for
Bid teams who want the panel to step through the job themselves, site teams running inductions and lift briefings, and design teams reviewing a scheme at full scale in VR.
Used for
- Interactive 4D viewers and dashboards for bid and site teams
- VR and AR walkthroughs of sequences, logistics and temporary works
- Site inductions and safety briefings in VR
- Digital rehearsals of critical operations, such as heavy lifts and crane plans
- Design review tools
What you receive
- A working application for a Windows PC, PC VR or Meta Quest, as set in the proposal
- A build to try at each milestone, so your team can steer while changes are cheap
- Short notes on how to install and run it
- The project files, where the proposal includes them
Typical timeline
A focused tool, such as a VR walkthrough of one sequence or a site induction, usually takes 3 to 6 weeks. A 4D viewer or dashboard for a bid or site team usually takes 6 to 12 weeks. The proposal splits the work into milestones, each with a build you can try.
Best unity developer I ever worked with.
Choosing
Which one fits?
Start from what you need to show, and to whom. If the job needs more than one, the proposal covers them together.
-
Show a bid panel, a client or a site team how the job goes together
4D construction sequencing and animation -
Get a 4D model built, checked or reviewed for your planners
4D planning and SYNCHRO support -
Let people step through the job themselves, on a screen or in a headset
Bespoke interactive applications in Unreal Engine and Unity -
Rehearse a heavy lift, a crane plan or a site induction

How it works
Every project runs the same way
The same steps whichever service you choose, from the first message to handover.
-
Tell me about the project
Use the form or email me: what you are building, where, and when the tender or the work is due. A short note is enough.
-
A 30-minute call
You and I go through the programme, the model, the deadline and who will see the result, at a time that suits your time zone.
-
A written proposal
Scope, timeline, price and assumptions, in writing. Nothing starts until you accept it.
-
Delivery with previews
I share previews at the points set in the proposal, so you can steer while changes are still cheap.
-
Handover
The final files with short notes on how to use them, and the project files where the proposal includes them.
Where I work
Where I take 4D work
- the Gulf
- continental Europe
- North America
4D work is for projects in the Gulf, continental Europe and North America: sequencing and animation, planning and SYNCHRO support, and any application that plays a construction programme.
VR walkthroughs, site inductions and design review tools that do not play a programme have no regional limit.
Not sure which one fits?
Send a short note and any files you have. I reply within 2 working days to arrange a 30-minute call, and the proposal sets out the work that fits your job.
